Jason specializes in process and governance, which aren’t the first things that usually come to mind when you think of AT&T. But “when you look at how complex networks and service providers are integrated the weakest link is often how processes fit, or don’t fit, together”.
Working with the IT departments of many well known large and medium companies Jason has helped them improve their resolution of incidents and problems, strengthen controls, and generally better meet the needs of the businesses they serve.
Jason is active in the field of IT Service Management (ITSM). He participated in reviewing the latest updates to the ITIL books (ITIL V3 2011), and has written articles for ITSMWatch.com and CIOUpdate.com. He holds his ITIL V3 Expert certification and has conducted ITIL Foundations training in the classroom and virtually.
In addition to working in ITSM Jason is experienced in IT operations and Project Management (he holds his PMP certification). Jason’s favorite project so far has been the successful design, build, and commissioning of a “state of the art” green data center in 2008.
Jason lives in Dallas with his wife, son, dogs, and chickens.
