How do these companies become more and more creative? How do they use innovation to create differentiation in the marketplace and stay ahead of their competition? Norbert is asking and answering these questions every day. He helps enterprise clients rationalize the process of idea crowdsourcing and establish frameworks for effective governance and management of the complete innovation lifecycle.
Having started companies that built their business around new ideas, Norbert knows there is a science to innovation that complements the “art of the possible.” He has fostered innovation at several enterprises, both large and small.
Before joining AT&T in 2011, he served as the Chief Architect at New York Life Insurance Co., where he was involved in developing enterprise strategies for data and voice communications, network security, unified communications and collaboration. During his 30-year career he’s gained deep experience in business development, IT architecture, technology operations, developing startups, and mergers and acquisitions. He has served in several executive positions, including as CIO and CTO of MTM Technologies, President and CEO of DataVox Technologies and Vice President at Salomon Brothers.
He’s also been an active board member of the Wall Street Technology Association (WSTA). Norbert has a Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering from Stony Brook University in New York.
