Paula Waldron

As Senior Product Marketing Manager in the Security Solutions Marketing organization of AT&T, Paula Waldron is focused on providing thought leadership in the areas of technology and security. Working with members of the Chief Security Office and the AT&T Security Product Management Team, Waldron helps create documentation and stage events that demonstrate AT&T’s leadership and experience in security solutions.

Since beginning this role in 2012, she’s orchestrated a variety of thought leadership initiatives, including speaking events, programs, webinars, white papers and blogs. She uses social media to disseminate these and to expand the number of companies who can benefit from AT&T’s knowledge in the areas of technology and security.

As someone who sees marketing as a mix of art and science, Paula’s career has also been grounded in the more left-brained area of technology. Her background reflects both disciplines, and she enjoys that both are fast evolving and fluid. As founding consultant for MPowered Group, she guided clients in how best to address marketing opportunities and challenges by combining integrated marketing programs with outsourced sales and marketing to increase ROI.

Prior to MPowered Group, Paula spent seven years with British Telecom, first as senior product manager for Concert, a BT subsidiary. Here she re-launched and marketed the global voice product, stimulating sluggish sales and increasing profitability. Next, as VoIP senior marketing manager, also with Concert, she developed and launched a global VoIP service to AT&T and British Telecom’s global sales force and Fortune 500 clients with a remarkably small product marketing budget. In her last role with BT, Paula headed global marketing for BT Diamond IP, a global software division. In this marketing role, she managed a team of five marketing specialists to help launch software solutions, develop and manage marketing campaigns, and increase revenue by 25% while maintaining a 50% gross margin.

Paula holds a Bachelor’s of Science in business management from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York.

She spends her free time enjoying the outdoors near her home at the Jersey Shore and is interested in environmental sustainability practices. She recently held a two-year board position with Sustainable Lawrence, a non-profit organization whose mission is to encourage the people and institutions of Lawrence Township to cooperatively adopt fundamental principles of sustainability and to develop policies and practices that fulfill those principles.
