Sara Vincent is a Senior Manager in Marketing who sees what is happening from the big picture point of view. She has been with AT&T over five years and is currently working with messaging and external communication around Cloud, Hosting and Application Management.
Sara finds it interesting that the same types of questions that we hear today about Cloud (e.g. security, separation of data, SLA questions, etc.) are the same types of questions that came up years ago. Questions which came up around hosting and shared networking were very similar to what we’re hearing from customers today regarding Cloud issues. It seems that the more things change, the more they really do stay the same.
The team she works with is a source of inspiration and fun, she says. She loves working with a team that is “quick-witted and not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get to work, when needed.” She particularly likes working with a team that “makes me laugh and helps me be creative.” These are important aspects of being successful for knowledge workers today.
Sara’s degree is in Journalism from the University of Maryland. This gives her an advantage in writing blogs. She reads from several blogs about technology and a wide variety of topics. This will help to further enrich her posts and help her posts to be very appealing. She loves reading real, physical books (not a big fan of a digital device yet, she says!) and this broad range of experience and knowledge base will serve her well as an author with Networking Exchange Blog.
Welcome aboard, Sara. We are glad to have you with us here at Networking Exchange Blog.
