David Egger has worked in several areas at AT&T sales, education, and now marketing. In his role as Lead Marketing Manager for AT&T’s IRU (Individual Responsibility User) Mobility Programs, David generates awareness for programs that offer benefits to:
- Federal employees
- City, County, and State government employees
- Active and retired military
- Tribal employees
- School district employees
- Higher-education employees and students
- Medical facility employees
According to Mr. Egger, “we like to adapt the idea of Rethink Possible to finding new ways to spread the word about the great benefits AT&T can offer to our customers and the benefits they can pass along to their employees.” For example, IRU could be used as part of a plan to enable a university to deploy technologies like unified communications, mobile learning and cloud computing tools to students.
David likes tech gadgets. His favorite gadget is his iPhone, but the technical innovation that he thinks will change how companies do business is the device that falls between a smart phone and a laptop. David predicts, “Those are the game changers. When you add in cloud computing, slates free people to accomplish a lot with one device at a moments notice.”
As a forward-thinking, self-described nerd, David has a keen awareness of emerging technologies and mobile applications. In addition, with an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business (where he also has a blog) and professional interests in sales, marketing, branding, and guerrilla marketing, he has a broad knowledge base to draw from and interesting ideas about how companies can deliver their message. So, you can expect some thought-provoking posts on a wide variety of topics from David.
