Welcome to the world of Application Program Interfaces (APIs), a new technology that’s gradually – and securely – opening upthe AT&T network to move data quickly through the cloud and provide a host of new services. With API, the network takes on the function of a “black box” that that interfaces with applications to extract data, while keeping the technology used to find and extract the data in the background.
