Lisa Thomas is an AT&T veteran for 20 years working in marketing, advertising and communications. Currently she is the Marketing and Content Manager working with small businesses to help them become involved with customer portals and new technologies.
Lisa has a rich background, not only in serving customers, but also in computer programming. That experience helps her to analyze more carefully the practical uses of new technologies.
Social media is a key area for Lisa’s involvement now. She is regularly interfacing with customers on social media as well as monitoring live chat sessions. This gives her a very good insight into what customers need in the real-world. One of her ideas that has helped customers a lot is to consolidate answers to frequently-asked questions into videos and place the answers on YouTube. That way customers are able to get the answers they want quickly and can repeat the training as often as they need. Lisa’s love for her iPod comes out when you talk with her. She loves the ability to create custom lists of songs for a given type. She also reads blogs regularly and will be able to bring that experience over to her work with us here at Networking Exchange Blog.
