AT&T and Cisco: helping our customers work better

AT&T has always been in the business of connecting people. But our business is changing, and it’s changing for our customers . It’s getting faster, more competitive, and more digital. Business is moving out of the office and into the field.

AT&T Conferencing with Cisco WebEx

We’ve been offering Cisco WebEx since its inception. Now, AT&T Conferencing with Cisco WebEx is also updating. Customers today face new challenges. In 2015, the AT&T network saw an average of 27,000 cyber-attacks on businesses each day.

AT&T alone hosts more than 300,000 conference calls a day and 12 billion minutes of conferencing a year. Our customers need conferencing sessions to be high-quality and protected.

Since May, we’ve given customers meeting requirements the option of enabling our AT&T Conferencing with Cisco WebEx with AT&T NetBond®. AT&T NetBond provides highly secure connections to cloud platforms. Customers get improved network performance and additional security to collaborate with confidence and ease.

And for customers looking to take it a step further, AT&T’s security services stand ready to help.

Internet of Things starter kits

For many businesses, the internet is moving beyond computers, calling and conferencing to everything. We saw nearly 28 million connected devices – or “things” – connected to the internet via AT&T at the end of first quarter 2016. And that number is growing. AT&T, working closely with Cisco, is introducing an Internet of Things (IoT) Starter Kit to help developers continue to innovate and build new IoT solutions. Developers will now have access to AT&T Control Center and the hardware and software to develop IoT apps quickly and conveniently.

AT&T and Cisco share a belief that the right business technology can make work better for everyone. If you’re at Cisco Live, stop by booth 3250 to learn more about how AT&T and Cisco can bring the best in collaboration, security, and IoT to bear for your business.
