AT&T is core to Rockwell Automation’s connected enterprise

  • Organizations can collect/share data from equipment to OEMs and others.

  • Customers will have a secure and flexible way to share that data.

We announced a collaboration with Rockwell Automation to jointly create and deliver cellular solutions to help enable smarter machines and assets throughout the world. At AT&T we want to recognize, validate and applaud “The Connected Enterprise” approach Rockwell Automation advocates in the IoT space.

While AT&T has long played the role of a global leader in the IT world, we’re very excited to team with Rockwell Automation to refine our role in the convergence of OT, operational technology. AT&T Data Service and Application Platforms will help enable Rockwell Automation to more effectively provide VISIBLITY into a broader range of remote or off-net equipment. AT&T can help to contextualize real-time data streams from remote locations.

By combining the AT&T Global SIM and M2X Data Service platform with the cloud-enabled service offerings from Rockwell Automation, together we’ll be able to deliver more trusted and flexible solutions that help industrial customers more securely connect and monitor machinery and equipment. The AT&T Global SIM is used together with AT&T Control Center to launch, manage, and rapidly scale the Rockwell Automation connected device deployments worldwide, with minimal effort.
