Last year was a busy one in the cybersecurity industry.
Hackers and cybercriminals continued their attacks against companies, with notable breaches in the health care, financial, education, and government sectors. Ransomware attacks rose. The growth of the mobile market increased emphasis on helping to securing those devices, while the rise of the Internet of Things (IoT) introduced thousands of new connected gadgets, some of which came with little or no built-in protection.
