Study shows BYOD increases production

A recent study by Enterprise Mobility Exchange, “From BYOD to MobileFirst: Transforming your Employees’ Work-Life Balance,” (April, 2015) shows that companies with a BYOD policy in place reported an increase in employee productivity by 67.9 percent and employee satisfaction by 79.5 percent. In this study, businesses agreed that when a BYOD policy is aligned with corporate goals, organizations can gain efficiencies, save costs, better collaborate with customers, and increase revenues. However, many companies don’t yet have a BYOD policy in place because of multiple concerns. These include security, how to manage multiple device platforms, or an unwillingness to yet embrace modern ways.
