Gartner recognizes AT&T as a global network services leader

  • Gartner's Magic Quadrant released for global network service providers.

  • For the 11th year, Gartner named AT&T a leader in delivering fixed corporate networking services.

Last week, we met with our Global Customer Advisory Council in Florence, Italy, where customers provide feedback on how we can best serve their evolving needs.

When people ask me what’s unique about AT&T, I explain how our global network is unmatched in quality. I tell them how we mobilize people, processes and assets, helping businesses transform themselves. I’ll also offer this; Don’t just take my word for it—read what a leading analyst firm is saying.

A new study by research and advisory firm Gartner, Inc. named AT&T a Leader in its “2015 Magic Quadrant for Network Services, Global” for the 11th year.

Gartner’s Magic Quadrant provides a view of the relative positions of a specific market’s competitors. It applies a graphical treatment and a uniform set of evaluation criteria. A Gartner Magic Quadrant shows how well technology providers are executing against their stated vision. Leaders in the quadrant perform well against their current vision and are well positioned for tomorrow.

The Magic Quadrant assesses suppliers that can deliver fixed corporate networking services

worldwide. These services include:

o   Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS)

o   IPsec virtual private networks (VPNs)

o   Ethernet WAN services

The report focuses on a vendor’s service quality, pricing, and track record. These elements are particularly important for global networks, because the issues of infrastructure, language and culture are more challenging when applied to more than one country.

We’re honored by this recognition and thank our customers for continuing to turn to us. They include global companies like Smiths Group and Franke Group that need to communicate quickly and securely around the world to stay competitive.
