Manufacturing meets its future at Hannover Messe

  • For the first time, the U.S. will be the partner company for Hannover Messe, the world's biggest industrial technology trade fair.

  • AT&T will join other American technology companies in exhibiting innovative solutions for the manufacturing and industrial sectors.

  • More than 200,000 visitors from 70 countries are expected to attend.

In just a few days, the world’s biggest industrial trade fair gets underway in Germany. More than 200,000 visitors from 70 countries are expected to attend Hannover Messe (translation: Hanover Fair) to see the newest advances in industrial technology, including the latest in industrial automation, digital factories, and more.

We’re very excited about this show because, for the first time, the U.S. will be the partner nation for this international exhibit. This designation gives American companies and economic development organizations a wonderful chance to display our national tradition of innovation and invention. President Barack Obama is scheduled to join German Chancellor Angela Merkel in opening the show. And U.S. representatives will be very visible at key events and activities.

AT&T will be very visible in Hannover, too, along with other U.S. technology giants. We’ll be showcasing some of our solutions that could help change the way manufacturing is done in this country and around the world. Technologies like:

  • Our Smart Cities and industrial Internet of Things (IoT) solutions that can help cities provide a higher quality of life to residents with things like safer streets, intelligent utilities, and more efficient transportation
  • Global connectivity solutions that can help connect even the most remote areas, allowing them to tap into IoT technologies
  • IoT platforms and tools that simplify the development process, helping make it easier to create new devices and functionality for inventory management, fleet management, and more
  • Network on Demand capabilities that give manufacturers an agile, responsive network to help them build and deliver that next big product
  • Security solutions that help safeguard against even the most advanced threats, giving companies options that help keep confidential information protected and customer data private

If you’ll be at Hannover Messe, stop by the AT&T area and see how we can help change your future. If you can’t attend, check the Networking Exchange Blog during the show for coverage of our activities.
